Frequently Asked Questions

What is RS2RS?

Have you ever seen the Remote Upload feature of RapidShare? It allows you to upload files remotely, provided that you type in the links for the files. I'm sure the first question that pops in your head is...

Can I enter RapidShare links in RapidShare's Remote Upload section?

No! That's why RS2RS was created. You give in the links you want to upload remotely, and it provides you with links that are acceptable by RapidShare's Remote Upload section.

Yay! So I registered to RS2RS, and all I got is a bunch of questions!

That's what FAQ's are for.

First of all, can I use this service for free?

Yes, but you'll be limited to just two of the RS2RS Servers.

What's wrong with that?

When servers are being used by many people simultaneously, they get slow, meaning your uploads will take much more time to complete.

How does RS2RS Premium membership help?

When you become a Premium RS2RS user, you are set to use one of the Premium Servers. The premium servers never reach a simultanious usage of 12 users so that means your uploads will remote with an average speed of +8mbps.

Alright! Do I need anything else to use RS2RS?

A RapidShare Premium Account is needed in order to use this service, so if you don't have one don't bother using RS2RS. Buy one and come back.

Okay, I understood all these. Now, how do I use this service?

After registration, you have to type your RapidShare Premium Account's details in the boxes at the center of the page. Once you do that, fill in the boxes below if you want to rename the files you're going to upload.

Do I have to do this every time?

Yes. But let me finish before asking again. After you type in all that, you have to paste the RapidShare links you want to upload remotely in the box below, and press the "Generate Links!" button. Then all you have to do is copy the freshly generated links and paste them in your Remote Upload section on RapidShare.

I used your service and I've lost traffic from RapidShare. Why the hell did that happen?

Relax, it's how things work. RapidShare charges you the traffic it uses to download these files before uploading them to your account. It's meant to be that way with every Remote Upload, it has nothing to do with RS2RS. You can use RapidShare's Happy Hours if traffic troubles you.

Once the file finished uploading, RapidShare said the it's blacklisted. What do I do?

Generate a new link for the same file, and try again.

I always end up getting 1Byte files when using the links generated here, what am I doing wrong?

You don't own a RapidShare Premium Account or the Username/Password you provided us is false. Make sure the password doesn't include an "@" or any other weird character, as it's not supported.

I keep getting files of about 30kB size. What's wrong?

Your RapidShare Premium Account has run out of traffic. Wait till the next day comes and you'll have 5Gb added by RapidShare.

I hate RS2RS and I want my money back!

If you're an RS2RS Premium user for less than or equal to 3 days and you've never had a refund before you can have your money back.
